Discussion Post: Your Favorite Gundam

Now that we know how you got started with all things Gundam, there's another important question that has to be asked:

Which Gundam is your favorite Gundam?

Can you narrow it down to one? One per series? A favorite at a certain skill? One you collect more than others? A favorite one to build kits of?

Feel free to add pictures or link relevant info.

The Blitz Gundam from Gundam Seed is probably my all-time favourite, but I have some favourites from the other series as well!

Gundam Seed: As mentioned, the Blitz Gundam. It looks really cool and can turn invisible!
Seed Destiny: The Abyss Gundam because I like the colour scheme and it can turn into a submarine. Sorta.
Turn A Gundam: The title Gundam, the Turn A. It has a very unique design, and I also love the custom model that shows up in Build Fighters.
Victory Gundam: The Victory 2 or V2 Gundam. Great design, nice colours, and I generally like how it looks.
08th MS Team: The Ez8 Gundam. For a suit basically built out of spare parts, it looks great and performs really well.
Gundam Age: The Gundam Legilis, although I love all the Age Gundams pretty much equally. Cool design, and it's piloted by telepathy!

Not sure what my favourite suits are from the Build Fighters series yet, so I'll post those later.

Aww yiss. I like thinking about these. Anyhow my personal favorites:

MSG (0079): Of course the Rx-78-2. I dig the old school look and it's the grand daddy of them all. If anyone's read Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin, you've probably noticed the Rx-78-2 is subtly different from the first prototype (Rx-78-1). Just check out the visor.

G-Gundam: I love the Nobel and gundam Maxter. Sailor Moon Robot? You've intrigued me. Boxing and surfing robots? I'd like a subscription to your newsletter. G Gundam has such fun designs in general.

Gundam Wing: Oh man. I just can't narrow it down really. If I were forced to choose, it probably be Heavyarms Endless Waltz version. There's no such thing as overkill. My answer will probably change tomorrow. Like I said, too hard to choose. The designs were pretty solid.

0083 Stardust Memories: I really like the GP 01 Zephyranthes. I like it the overall look better than the GP-02. http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/RX-78GP01_Gundam_%22Zephyranthes%22 Also I totally enjoy blasting my way through mooks in DWG3 with it. Having Kou Uraki as a partner has saved my bacon lots of times.

CCA (Char's Counterattack): Nu Gundam. Largely because Amuro is probably one of my favorite characters. Also a lot of fun to play with in DWG3 with Zero range shot equipped. A++ would main again.

I've seen some of the other series when they aired on toonami, but these were the ones that came up when I saw this post. :)

I think I will forever love all of the Gundams from 0083. Even though GP-02 is kinda clunky, it's probably my favorite of the bunch.

Gosh, God Gundam! I love the heat ring! And Wing Zero Custom.

Close seconds are Epyon and Deathscythe Hell.

Third place would be Nobel Gundam and Gundam Maxter. Honestly, I love the more ridiculous Gundam (and colony!) designs in G Gundam. I know it's ridiculous and not very popular, but I love G Gundam because it's over the top and ridiculous and doesn't take itself too seriously.

Epyon is always a good choice!

I think G Gundam is a lot of fun. ^_^ Sunrise does some good things when they decide not to take Gundam too seriously now and then~

Gundam Wing: Gundam Epyon takes the top spot. It's a killer crimson dragon that eats minds. I'm down.

Wing Zero Custom is probably my favorite kit to build, though, just because of all the intricacy in the wings. It's a pain in the butt to balance, but I built a Perfect Grade Wing Zero Custom Ver.Ka Pearl version, and it's the best model I own.

Gundam Wing G-Unit: Hydra's a close second, for the sheer amount of OTT whut that went into that design. I'd love to find a kit of this.

Gundam OO: It's gotta be Virtue/Nadleeh. Two for one! Kyrios got close, but I didn't end up liking its bird mode as much as I hoped to.
